The Best Interior Designers to Follow on Instagram

We all need inspiration for design from time to time, and Instagram is definitely the treasure trove for creatives. Social Unseen curated a list of one-of-a-kind designers to follow, and while their styles may vary, they all share common qualities – a love for craftsmanship, an eye for curation and a passion for materials.

Rose Uniacke is an interior designer and antiques dealer who melds contemporary style with old and organic materials. Minimalistic yet somehow remaining warm and welcoming, her creations include everything from exposed wood, to steel and marble, never forgetting a touch of antiques of course.

From Gonzaga, Italy, Vincenzo De Cotiis is considered a pioneer of the international collectible design scene, creating one-of-a-kind and limited-edition projects by hand in his atelier. His pieces are created by combining luxe materials with salvaged materials like fiberglass, stone and wood. You can find his work at his gallery in Milan as well as at international art fairs such as Design Miami/Basel.

Studio Andrew Trotter is a multi-disciplinary office working on international projects from architecture and interior design, to product design and design consultancy. Simplicity is at the heart of his ideas, along with a true belief that any design should belong to the place that it is built. Known for his works that integrate seamlessly with the landscape, projects such as the Masseria Moroseta and Villa Cardo quickly became icons within the Italian Pugliese country.

Swedish-based interior designer Joanna Lavén creates private and commercial spaces inspired by contemporary Scandi style. She uses unique pieces to bring spaces to life, choosing standout furniture, lots of play on textures, and monochromatic color palettes. From breezy beach homes to brightly colored living rooms, Joanna always puts her unique touch on every design.
